WHAT IS URL ENCODER / DECODER?

Convert text to URL-safe percent-encoding, or decode it back, with full UTF-8 support. Switch between encodeURIComponent (for parameter values) and encodeURI (for whole URLs).

How to use?

  1. Choose direction: "Encode" converts text to %-format; "Decode" restores %-format back to readable text.
  2. When encoding, choose function: encodeURIComponent for query values (encodes & = ?); encodeURI for full URLs (preserves structural chars).
  3. Paste text in the left panel — the result appears instantly on the right. All processing is local; no data is uploaded.
