WHAT IS PDF TO JPG?

PDF to JPG uses Mozilla PDF.js to render PDF pages to JPG images entirely in your browser, with adjustable quality and scale, and page-range selection.

Features

  1. Three quality presets (70/85/95) and three scale options (1x/1.5x/2x).
  2. Convert all pages, or enter a specific page range.
  3. Pages render one at a time — never multiple pages at once — to avoid running out of browser memory.
  4. Output filenames are zero-padded to match the total page count (e.g. page-001.jpg).

How to use?

  1. Drag or click to upload one PDF file.
  2. Choose all pages or a page range, and adjust quality and scale.
  3. Click "Convert", then download individually or via ZIP.

Note: this tool renders pages as images — it does not extract the original images embedded in the PDF, which is a different feature.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool extract the original images embedded in the PDF?

No. This tool renders each page as an image — it does not extract the original images already embedded inside the PDF, which is a different feature.

Will converting a large PDF crash my browser?

No — pages render one at a time, never concurrently, and memory is released immediately after each page, avoiding browser memory exhaustion.

What is the output filename format?

Filenames are zero-padded to match the total page count — e.g. with 120 pages, output is page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg, and so on.
