Compress PDF files client-side, with a non-destructive "preserve document" mode and a smaller-file "rasterize" mode
Files are processed locally in your browser. Files are not uploaded to JoeLucky.
No page content is converted: selectable text, links, and forms stay intact. The size reduction depends on how optimized the source already is — it may be small.

PDF Compressor offers two honest compression modes: a non-destructive "Preserve document" mode (keeps selectable text, links, and forms) and a destructive but often much smaller "Rasterize" mode — all processing happens entirely in your browser.
Not always. This mode never converts page content, so if the source PDF is already well-optimized, the reduction may be small or zero — the tool honestly reports "no size reduction" and suggests Rasterize mode instead.
Selectable text, links, form fields, and accessibility structure — every page becomes a single flattened image. This tradeoff is shown clearly before processing, never as a surprise afterward.
Not currently. The tool shows a clear "encrypted" message instead of crashing or producing a corrupt file.
