Compare two texts by line, word, or character, with side-by-side or unified views and options to ignore whitespace/case

Text Diff Checker compares two texts by line, word, or character, clearly marking additions, removals, changes, and unchanged content, with both side-by-side and unified view modes.
"Ignore whitespace" treats pure whitespace differences as non-changes; "ignore case" treats text differing only in case as identical; "trim lines" strips leading/trailing whitespace from every line before comparing. CRLF and LF line endings are always normalized automatically.
All comparison happens locally in your browser — the text you enter is never uploaded or sent anywhere.
No. Character mode tokenizes with a Unicode-aware method (Intl.Segmenter, falling back to a code-point-safe method where unavailable) — a surrogate pair or emoji is never split into two broken characters.
No — both are normalized before comparing, so Windows (CRLF) and Unix (LF) formatted text is never mistakenly flagged as different on every line.
Above a safety threshold, live auto-compare is disabled and you're asked to click "Compare" manually; above a hard limit, the tool refuses to compare and shows a clear message, to avoid freezing the browser tab.
