WHAT IS CSS GLASSMORPHISM?

Tune opacity, blur, saturation and border settings to preview a frosted-glass card in real time, then copy the CSS, including backdrop-filter.

How to use?

  1. The left panel has 7 controls: opacity, blur, saturation, border opacity, border radius, shadow, and color picker — all update the preview card instantly.
  2. Best results: opacity 10–25% and blur 5–15px. These two parameters have the greatest impact on the frosted-glass look.
  3. Raise saturation to 180% for vibrant colors behind the glass; border opacity adds a subtle highlight edge to the card.
  4. Click the 6 background swatches (Purple, Ocean, Sunset, etc.) to test the glass effect over different gradients.
  5. Click "Copy CSS" for production-ready code with both backdrop-filter and -webkit-backdrop-filter (Safari compatible) included.

Frequently asked questions

How is the glassmorphism effect achieved?

backdrop-filter: blur() for background blur, a semi-transparent background-color, and a subtle border.

Is it supported in all browsers?

Supported well in Chrome, Edge, and Safari. Firefox needs an experimental flag. Add -webkit- prefix for safety.

Can I preview in real time?

Yes. Any slider or color adjustment updates the preview instantly.

💡 Tips

  • Best results: opacity 10–25%, blur 5–15px
  • -webkit-backdrop-filter prefix included for Safari compatibility
  • If the effect looks dull, ensure the parent has a colorful background
  • Saturation at 180% keeps colors behind the glass vibrant
