WHAT IS TIME ZONE CONVERTER?

Time Zone Converter runs entirely on IANA time zone identifiers and the browser’s built-in Intl API. DST is handled automatically from the time zone database — never via a fixed offset — and up to 8 zones can be compared at once.

Features

  1. The default source zone is auto-detected from the browser, with a "Now" shortcut.
  2. Each zone row shows local date, local time, UTC offset, and a previous/next-day indicator relative to the source zone.
  3. "Typical working hours" and "typical sleeping hours" are rough labels only, not anyone’s actual schedule.
  4. "Copy meeting times" formats every zone’s date and time as multi-line text, ready to paste into a chat or email.

How to use?

  1. Set the date, time, and 12h/24h format.
  2. Search and add the zones you want to compare (up to 8), reorder with the up/down buttons, or remove one.
  3. Click "Copy meeting times" or "Reset".

Frequently asked questions

Does a DST transition break the conversion?

No — the offset is computed fresh for the specific date and time from the browser's built-in IANA time zone data (via the Intl API), rather than a fixed constant, so results stay correct on both sides of a DST transition.

Whose schedule does "typical working hours" reflect?

It's a rough default label (e.g. 09:00–18:00 as working, 22:00–07:00 as sleeping), not any specific person's actual schedule — it's meant only as a quick reachability hint.

How many time zones can I compare at once?

Up to 8 — search to add one, use the up/down buttons to reorder, or remove one you no longer need.
