WHAT IS PNG TO JPG?

PNG to JPG batch-converts PNG images into the typically smaller JPG format — entirely in your browser.

Features

  1. JPG has no alpha channel, so a PNG with transparent areas is composited onto your chosen background (white/black/custom) — never silently turned black.
  2. Adjustable JPG quality, batch processing, with ZIP download.
  3. If you're converting WebP rather than PNG, use the "WebP to PNG/JPG" tool instead.

How to use?

  1. Drag or click to upload PNG images (multiple allowed).
  2. Adjust quality and the background color for transparent areas, then click "Convert to JPG".
  3. Download individually or via ZIP for the whole batch.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from "WebP to PNG/JPG"?

This tool is specifically for PNG sources and only accepts PNG files. If you're converting a WebP image, use the WebP to PNG/JPG tool instead — both share the same underlying engine but each is scoped to a clear source format.

What happens to a PNG's transparent background when converting to JPG?

Transparent areas are composited onto your chosen background color (white by default, or black/custom) — never silently turned black.

Will the file always get smaller?

Usually, since JPG uses lossy compression, but the exact reduction depends on the original PNG's content and your chosen quality — the tool always shows the honest before/after file size.
