WHAT IS IP REPUTATION & RISK CHECKER?

The IP Reputation & Risk Checker scores an IP across three separated dimensions — Reputation, Anonymity, and Abuse Risk. This is JoeLucky's own transparent scoring, not an official certification or a universal industry standard.

Important

  1. VPN, proxy, hosting IPs, or Tor never lower the Reputation score by themselves — those are Anonymity-dimension signals only.
  2. No abuse-history provider is wired in this version, so most IPs will honestly show "insufficient data" rather than a fabricated score.

How to use?

  1. Your own IP is checked by default — you can also enter another IP address.
  2. Click the "?" icon next to any signal for its full scoring explanation.

Frequently asked questions

Is the "JoeLucky Reputation Score" an official or industry-standard score?

No. IP purity has no single global industry standard — this is JoeLucky's own transparent scoring method, never an official certification, and the page states this clearly.

Will using a VPN or Tor lower my Reputation score?

No. VPN, proxy, hosting IPs, and Tor are Anonymity-dimension signals only — the scoring code deliberately keeps them completely separate from the Reputation score. Only confirmed abuse/fraud/blacklist activity can affect Reputation.

Why do most IPs show "insufficient data" for Reputation and Abuse Risk?

Because no abuse-history or fraud-scoring provider is wired in this version (that requires a paid or not-yet-licensed data source), so it honestly shows "insufficient data" rather than displaying a fabricated number that just looks authoritative.

There is no single global standard for IP purity. JoeLucky only shows results based on verifiable signals and does not guess or invent scores when data is missing.
