Frequently asked questions

What happens if the check digit is wrong?

This tool’s own validation/checksum logic decides validity first; if it fails, the barcode is not rendered — even if the underlying library wouldn’t have thrown an error on its own.

Which barcode formats are supported?

Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, and ITF-14 — six 1D barcode formats.

Can I download it as an image?

Yes — download the vector SVG, or a PNG rendered from that SVG.
